Adam's dad came into town to celebrate Thanksgiving. It's sad that this is my only picture of him.
We had a lot of fun going to many of our favorite local farms.
Over all, hosting my very first Thanksgiving dinner was a success. Notes for next year:
Definitely buy turkey from Wilson farms again!
Yeast breads and I have a love/hate relationship.
I love to eat them, I'd love to be able to make them, but they hate me and never turn out.

My rolls looked like oversized golf balls.
Any one want to come to Boston and give me a lesson?
This one has a birthday coming up. We made a paper chain to countdown to the big day.
Which, by default, is also our count down to Christmas :)
The tree is up, the stockings hung, and the gifts are ordered...
but there is still much to do: wrapping, cooking, baking, a short trip to Utah, an even shorter trip to New York, reading Christmas stories, making memories, and, of course, remembering the reason for this wonderful season!
Love this time of year. There is much to be thankful for!
Brynn is so excited to spend a long weekend seeing her grandparents, cousins,
aunts/uncles and friends! It's my Christmas present. I can't wait!!!
